An individual optical spindle sensor monitors every spindle at all times. Detecting the movement of the ring traveller it controls continuously the status and spindle speed of each yarn position. In the event of a yarn break, the ring traveller stops and no longer passes by the sensor.

From the touch screen control unit it is easy to manage settings and options. The sensor automatically adjust by itself the best working parameters.
All the data collected from the sensors can be delivered to Saurer mill management system (Senses) to have a complete view of the Spinning Department in real time.
ISM can also be connected to the roving stop system to stop the roving feed in case of a yarn break.
